If you have a sweet tooth like I do, you are going to love this recipe. I promise you this applesauce will taste so much better than any other applesauce you've ever had. The best part is that it requires little to no sugar. You will get an amazing dessert without all the chemicals, preservatives, and additives that most store bought applesauce have.
Ingredients:
2 pounds of Apples (peeled, cored, and cut into slices)
2 cups of water
1 tbsp of brown sugar (optional)
3 tbsp of cinnamon powder
2 cinnamon sticks
Juice of 1 lemon
Directions:
- Placed all the ingredients in a large pot and cook over medium /low heat for 30 minutes.
- this part is really optional, you can blend it or added to a food processor.
- Store in the fridge and serve by itself , with soda crackers, over pancakes, oatmeal, ice cream.
